We have a few areas on our home that need repair 2 stair step cracks on our side walls, a crack above our arch entry and several cracked brick at the corner of the garage thanks to our teenager driver. We are wondering if it's better to have them repaired before we sell our home, or to just let the new home owners deal with it.

Thank you for the question Richard. You should first consider the impact the needed repairs may have on the future buyers of your home. Many people see needed repairs and make many assumptions about why they haven't been made. Still others are scared away from even making a serious offer on your home for fear of the unknown. In the long run, holding off on a $250 repair could cost you thousands in lost home value in your market. My advice; Get the repairs professionally done before you ever put your home on the market. Most Realtors will tell you this same thing as well.
